What is R.O.A.D.?
R.O.A.D. acronym for “Reach Out Access Days”, is an outreach program run through Jacaranda Clubhouse to provide access to those members of the Ipswich & West Moreton Community who are located in areas where a lack of transport makes it difficult to attend Clubhouse, many of these members find great value in the daily structure and social atmosphere of Clubhouse. Clubhouse can make it easier to gain a structured schedule, and a wide variety of new skills and support with employment and related needs.
Who is ROAD for?
ROAD is perfect for individuals seeking somewhere to go and be part of a productive environment. Here at clubhouse we learn many new skills and sharpen up on the ones we already have; including social activities, cooking skills, computer skills and job search training. If it is difficult for you to reach local townships or there is a lack of public transport in your area, ROAD may be the program for you.
